Capoeira Brasil Peninsula + East Bay are collaborating on this one-of-a-kind workshop as a fundraiser in anticipation of our March batizado. This will be a Master Class with Mestre Itaborá bringing over 50 years of knowledge, tips, and insights on berimbau, pandeiro, and atabaque care and maintenance.

Spaces limited! We will be hosting in the CBSFP academy which has good ventilation and we will be requiring masks for all.

Bring your own berimbau, and any concerns you have about your instruments. There will be time for hands on, guided instruction! Things that will addressed:

- Where can we get wire for my berimbau?

- What about replacing other parts of the berimbau?

- How do you make arame?

- Make an arame! Take it home!

- How do I care for my pandeiro and atabaque?

- What tools should we have for proper maintenance of instruments?

- How do you fix broken cabaça?

- More and more!
